How long it takes to die

Maison des arts plastiques de Chevilly Larue (2023)
original text and archive video, edited with the kind permission of Camille Corleone

“I don't have any photos of you. When you died at twenty-three I spent days looking for images of us and there were none, no photos but four seconds of video that Camille had made on her phone one morning at your house. I was already obsessed with images before you died but not enough, it was a surface obsession. Eight years ago I didn't take any photos, and I sometimes blame myself. I became a photographer to ward off the curse: since your death, I've been working on making everything immortal.”

People are afraid to merge

Salon Mommen, Bruxelles (2023)

Digital archive film combining moving image, sound distortion and text. This film is a space for reflection and experimentation around borderline personality disorder. It is constructed as a phantasmagorical immersion into an atypical neurological functioning, leaving the viewer free to interpret the images in his or her own way.

The way I feel inside

Galerie Air de Paris, Romainville (2022)

Experimental video of archives and collages of conversations by message, accompanied by the track The way I feel inside, by the Zombies. This work of moving images echoes the series of collages Karaoké! (2014), in which song lyrics are superimposed on archive images collected on Tumblr.
